Management is constantly in the way of any progressive initiative by employees. people will quietly snoop behind you to see what you are working on and then step up to ask you very specific questions about it. anyone will barge in to your 'space' anytime or call you in for a meeting regardless of what you are doing. There is no professionalism, no regard of anyone's time. and to top it all, you'll be asked the next morning what you achieved the previous day and your plans for the day, and just when you've finished sharing your plan for the day, you will be called into a meeting that - you guessed it: takes up the remaining part of the day! sometimes 3-4 hours a day for weeks!!! Meetings mostly comprise of a monologue that mostly veers off topic in its 30th second.

Nanomanagement at its peak (yes, micromanagement is better) no direction (except south!) no growth no empowerment no appreciation of skill, knowledge and talent no vision, no strategy, only task execution and that too in a playing by ear fashion.
